Wow, harsh. I only heard the two tracks on Pitchfork and they sounded alright. Tracking it down.

I haven't finished listening to the album but "Ghost Pressure" is my favorite. It's rather catchy. I like it.

Wolf Parade is great but I prefer Krugs vocals. Nothing wrong with Boeckner but I love the kinda ****ed up way Krug sings.
Listening to Ghost Pressure now and I like it.

I'm late on this one, but listening to Ghost Pressure, I decided I need to put some words on this thread and affirm my approval for this great band out of Montreal.

Yeah, I didn't like Expo 86. I love their first album. "Fine Young Cannibals" and "Kissing the Beehive" from At Mount Zoomer are masterfully crated.

^ those aren't from their first album.

Apologies to the Queen Mary - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I liked the debut more, but both are solid.

^ I know that. I was just saying Expo 86 is meh, I loved Apologies to the Queen Mary and my two favorite songs from At Mount Zoomer, their second album.

Yeah a Montreal band who's members are from/started their music careers in B.C... Canada's west coast music scene needs more credit.

Anyways I really like all their releases but it's true nothing has been able to compare with Queen Mary... Yet...

I didn't realize they were from BC. I guess a lot of bands have to head east to get noticed.

Here's some cred for the west: Yukon Blonde = Good Band
