What can I say? Bright Eyes is my all time favorite band. Conor gets to me like no other musician I have ever musically digested. Fevers and Mirrors to me is his most emotional album, as well as his best. Though Im Wide Awake, It's Morning is my favorite. I hope that makes sense, and my apologies if it does not. His lyrics. The way his voice cracks and cringes. Beautiful. Has anyone heard anything new about his (Bright Eyes) upcoming album?

Most of my friends don't like Bright Eyes because of Conor's voice, which lets be honest is understandable. I'm a fan because he is a gifted song writer and unlike most musicians these days, his songs actually have meaning to him. He doesn't make music to sell records or get in on the radio.

I have 6 of his albums (Digital Ash, Cassadaga, Four Winds, Noise Floor, Lifted and Wide Awake) and my favorites are Digital Ash and I'm Wide Awake.

You don't have "Fevers and Mirrors"? You need to check it out... now.

Allow me to elaborate. He obviously makes music to sell records because it is his job, his source of income. What I was going for is there is no fluff or meaningless catchy song he writes to become popular. He doesn't sellout to make his money, not that everyone else does, but he stays true to his belief in music.

You can call me young and naive and I'm ok with that but I believe in my reality.
