Try some Coldplay, I think they are a really good band. If you're looking for an albumn then go with a Rush of Blood to the Head.

What about Little Man Tate - I cant see them mentioned anywhere here.

They are a great up and coming band from Sheffield, with a new album out called What What you Got. Currently touring and i've seen them live 5 times and they're brilliant!!!

Check them out, they have a myspace and a website!

Check Out The Frames,the Twang,the 1990s,tool Of The Regime Check Em Out 4 Crackin Bands (i Know The Twang Are Being Hyped Like The Arctics Were But They Have The Tunes To Back It Up Which In My Eyes The Monkeys Dont Yet)

Smile good local indie bands...

I'm from Lancaster in the northwest of england... You could try a band called 'How's My Pop' (myspace.com/howsmypop). They supported this other wicked band from Leeds called 'Buen Chico' (myspace.com/buenchico.com) the other week at my local college... Check 'em both out!
