Garden State

I saw Garden State the other night and I liked it alot and I think the soundtracks gunna be good, if you havent seen it you should definetly try and go see it, its worth the nine bucks

gregb 08-29-2004 09:30 PM

I second this. Great movie and great soundtrack.

KeasbySlang 08-30-2004 11:43 AM

I'm a bit broke right now but when I get the cash I'm getting the soundtrack

indiegirlstar 08-30-2004 08:15 PM

that movie looks great, braff's a really cool guy and the soundtrack kicks f*$#ing ass! it better come to my theatre

Alameda 09-19-2004 04:35 PM

The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. How can you go wrong with Nick Drake and the Shins?

riseagainstrocks 09-19-2004 06:24 PM

Isn't the postal service in it, with Such Great Heights? I love that song. And Natalie Portman is hot as hell itself

Alameda 09-19-2004 06:26 PM

That song is in it, but it's a cover by Iron & Wine.

LoveChanel 11-17-2004 08:13 PM

I love that movie and the soundtrack is awesome too!

higgy 11-18-2004 10:34 AM

POstal Service - Such Great Heights is a brilliant song. Anyone got a list of all the songs which will be on it?

thepostman 03-24-2005 02:30 PM

i liked the movie but it had some cheesy sentimental parts i could have done without.

hylian82 03-25-2005 06:53 AM

lol, the postman, your goofy. :P I really liked that movie, but parts of it reminded me of this really slutty girl at my school with a learning disorder. I guess you dont have to be very smart to suck ****.....I digress, great movie, amazing soundtrack. Although if your looking for good music, my fav CD right now is Iron and Wine "our numbered countless days " I got into them from listening to Garden State ST.

David Frost 03-25-2005 12:38 PM

Frou Frou is good.

Sweet Jane 03-26-2005 02:19 PM

That movie wasn't too bad, I like the way it portrays being in your twenties and having no idea where your life is going, well decent soundtrack too, quite like Iron and Wine and most of the songs on it

jibber 03-26-2005 10:49 PM

I love that soundtrack, it's become one my my "driving out to the mountinas" cd's

Trauma 03-27-2005 03:46 PM

Garden State..good alternative movie, it reminded me of Lost In Translation, except the people were more beautiful and less Japanese..looking forward to the soundtrack.

Imogen heap is out of control, her solo stuff (that I've heard) is amazing. Get her version of Rollin and Tumblin with Jeff Beck. It's on Beck's "got whats coming to you"

I was just going to make a thread on Garden State, found this, so I shall bump it.
I love this movie.
It's adorable.
Easily my favorite movie ever made.
So simple.
So amazing.
k, thanks.

TheBig3 12-01-2005 10:31 PM

And the soundtrack?

BTW edge, how was your vacation at the mourge?

EDGE 12-02-2005 04:36 AM

Expletive Deleted 12-02-2005 03:41 PM

Thank you, I thought that I was the only one.

i liked the movie, although i found Lost in Translation and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind to be better. For some reason i always picture those movies together and that is the lesser of the three.

but i still liked it, and the soundtrack looked decent. i LOVE that version of such great hieghts by Iron and Wine. I was already familiar with the Shins before i saw the movie and i figured that most of the soundtrack was that band, so i never got it.
