listen to sirus radio channel 30, its all acoustic and most of it is acceptable.

Elliott Smith, (most) Bright Eyes, Nick Drake, Neutral Milk Hotel, Page France, Bishop Allen, Okkervil River, Owen, Frank Turner, Vashti Bunyan.

Danny Cavanagh does a good tribute to Nick Drake called "a place to be"...it's limited to 1000 copies (I have #691).

Eric Clapton can play some good acoustic...

I really don't understand why so many people like Sufjan.

He has a really pretty voice but I wouldn't rate him as a song writer.

The Evens most recent album Get Evens is fantastic. The lead singers are from Minor Threat and the Warmers, but the album is all acoustic and not very punk at all. I strongly recommend it.
