Default The The

"This is the Day" from Soul Mining (which is my favorite album from the '80s) is my favorite song...ever. Matt Johnson is a god.

you + me = friends

i actually rate Soul Mining as my favorite album ever. no lies!!

hard to explain why... it's mostly the fact that he is a MASTER lyricist - taking greart thoughts/words and putting them into a good song..

Agreed. Soul Mining is fantastic. Definitely one of the greatest albums of all time.

Question What...

Poloboy, I can understand that you love Ted Leo (I think he's one of the greatest songwriters of the last ten years) but to compare Ted Leo and his Pharmacists to The The is ridiculous. Leo's pop-punk music isn't even remotely similiar to Johnson's versatile career. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to offend you but the fact of the matter is your post was pointless.

I severely dislike Ted Leo, but if someone could upload Mind Bomb I've been after that album for at least two years.
