The Doves just bore me to be honest.

They could probably be a good band if they put their mind to it , but everytime I hear them I hear traces of talent yet most of the songs just sound like navel gazing dirges.

I like the Doves in a passive sort of way.

They are pretty boring tbh. So much so that I still haven't gotten around to listening to this album. Is it worth getting?
