Default Hypertext

Also from Indie surfer blog: "From the dark corner of the small underground music sessions in suburb Haugesund, four individuals started their trail toward musical relief in capitol city, Bergen, Norway. Together they challenged sound, rhythm and lyrics, the very definition of modern music. In their own special way, Hypertext mix harmonies and rhythm they enjoy and play it for no other reason than the hunger for playing them. The songs need to be out amongst people. The four minds have no intention of tutoring; just rendering comfortable realization of mutual pleasure.

The music has been characterized as a huge melting pot of different acts such as New York, Art, Punk, Shoegaze, Indie, Lo-Fi, Noise-Pop and Rock. This is not far from the truth. Through catchy guitar-riffs, pulsing rhythms and pure sonic noise, the audience are shown a world where ...and you will know us by the Trail of Dead, Sonic Youth, Interpol and The Strokes shake hands. After several gigs in Norway during 2006, including support-tour with Low Frequency in Stereo, Hypertext is finally done producing their debut-album ”Corrente Elektro”. The album was released in march/april 2007. The rest of the year is dedicated to touring, abroad as well as inland, in an attempt to conquer more hearts and soul with their love for music. Recommended!"
