Default The Blow

A friend of mine has given me their 'Paper Television' album, and I haven't actually listened to it yet but I love the song 'Parentheses'. They're something to do with some woman called Khaela Maricich who was in a band called The Microphones (might check them out too), but anyway I don't know history and I'm probably telling you stuff you already know.

Anybody else like them?

Here's their Myspace if anybody's interested.

I've only heard their song "Pile Of Gold", but I definitely like what I've heard! The song was a free download as part of this request for fans to make videos for the song I think.

Default The blow

Well i'm not best thread starter, but here's a go!
i really like this band, they are Khaela Maricich; she sang backup for the microphones who i haven't heard and she's done other solo stuff; the only other person is called Jona Bechtolt is a one man band that released under the name Y.A.C.H.T
well it's really good electronica, i like the crazy beats in the song pile of gold and 'hey boy' is calm but awesome.
give em a try...you might likey...

I started a thread on these a while ago, I like the songs 'Parentheses' and 'True Affection'. Their album is ok, nothing amazing.

Default The Blow don't blow!

I really love this album. I think they are pretty awesome... I am drawn to the electronic naturally, but I think the lyrics are well clever.

C'mon, who else likes them? They are good!
