I always liked Satanic Panic in the Attic. I don't think I could get tired of songs like Disconnect the Dots, Lysergic Bliss, and Rapture Rapes the Muses; some of my favorites.

Satanic Panic in the Attic and Hissing Fauna were good. The *** Parade was better. And Skeletal Lamping? Simply amazing I actually really got into Of Montreal because this album is right up my alley; I love the complete lack of cohesiveness and the wonderful complete chaos. Also, I just have to laugh at Rainard trying to explain why it's a good album to jgd. A lot of people definitely just don't get the concept of an album embracing chaos and/or focusing on an incohesive structure, and it's quite difficult to explain what sounds so good about it to us to someone that feels differently. I'm surprised I didn't see more on here about their earlier stuff; I thought The *** Parade was definitely one of their best albums. Fantastic band. Also, does anyone have a link for Cherry Peel by any chance? I've been keeping an eye out for it for a while now and I just can't find it; I still have yet to hear it.

Listening to False priest now and kinda having trouble finishing it. A bit boring innit? I get that his schizophrenic/lack of attention span sort of pop is kind of a signature at this point but now I just find it annoying... I miss the time when they made complete pop songs. He should get back on Ritalin or something...:/

I doubt I'll be playing it much.

Yeah, I keep playing False Priest with the hopes that I'll hear something different because I want to like it so bad. I am also tired of the schizo song structures. I thought he exercised that urge with Skeletal Lamping, which is the most schizo album in my collection (barring some purposefully experimental stuff). I, too, really want another Sunlandic Twins, honestly. I guess this album being disappointing isn't surprising...with 4 stellar albums in a row right before this, he was bound to lose it at some point.

Yes.

I haven't listened to False Priest yet. I only recently got Skeletal Lamping and it hasn't clicked, so I may try to give that another few spins before I pick up the latest.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

One of the few modern "indie" bands I can get behind.

Kevin Barnes is so delightfully bonkers.

I still need to hear the new one, but I'm so behind the times with everything these days.
