ive grown to love this band, Carey Mercer's voice is top notch even if at times it sounds like little more than drunken ramblings and i dig their overall bad seeds meets arcade fire sound a lot. who else?

I'd have to agree. Not something I would listen to very frequently, although my son would probably like them.

I dig this band.

I do like Frog Eyes. All I have of theirs is The Bloody Hand, but it's fantastic. Aren't they somehow related to Wolf Parade?

But enough about Frog Eyes. How about Wolf Eyes?

Wolf eyes is some good noise. I little too chaotic for me though.

I've never seen a Frog Eyes thread on a music forum before. :p: I can't remember how I got to know about them... I think I was talking to somebody about Canadian bands and I swapped Run Chico Run as a recommendation for their Frog Eyes recommendation. The Oscillator's Hum was the first song I got to and there was a free download link so I went for it and that was the beginning of my love for the band. :p:

The vocals are beyond amazing.

I spent a couple of years trying to plug them but nobody seemed interested so I gave up.
