I think Congratulations isn't just the best album of 2010, it's probably one of my favorite records of the past 10 years.

An incredible leap forward for the band, IMO.

Since I lost the discography of mgmt I haven't bothered my arse to download any of it. The only stuff I own now is electro remixes, they didn't entertain me enough when I had the discography, I'm glad I have a few spare gigs to throw around tbh.

Haha "Congratulations" is a great album. I love the psychedelic aspects of it. Also I'm pretty sure MGMT is into the same drugs I am haha. "It's Working" is about ecstasy if you hadn't figured it out. The video makes more sense if you've done it before.

MGMT's new album is just amazing but not as amazing as Oracular Spectacular

I prefer oracular spectacular as well, although I cannot listen to it now because it reminds me of being homesick when I was living abroad... :(

I met Andrew and Ben outside a gig of theirs in Dublin. They now own an art piece of mine and I got a photo. I will post it some day when I can post links. Their music is great.
