I was listening to Orac. Spectac. and This is Happening at the same time, and the latter won me over by a large margin. Oracular had its moments, but it wasn't all that great; it was just really poppy with not much else going on.

MGMT is great. Check out The Bunny The Bear's cover of 'Kids'.

I love MGMT! Their song "Metanoia" is the inspiration behind my username

A lot of people seem to compare them to Tame Impala, and as much as I like Tame Impala I think that MGMT is a lot more original. Just my opinion.

I pretty much like everything they have done without getting super excited other than a few tracks. Decent band.

I actually prefer Oracular because I think MGMT are essentially a catchy indie-pop group with tints of psychedelia, and their first is catchier, which it what I want from them.

'Kids' is such a catchy song; need to listen to more of this band.
