No threads? Really?
For those unfamiliar with them, they are Kim Deal (Pixies bassist and back up singers) side project during the Pixies and eventually became her big thing. Also one of Kurt Cobain's favorite bands.

Pod is one of my favourite albums. I know Last Splash is seen as the best album and it certainly is a fine album. Pod though just seems to have this element of warmth to me, it's melancholy in the most upbeat way. Maybe not with Glorious, but that's a really great opener.
That album's just as good as the last 2 Pixies albums y'know. (Necessary Pixies comparison).
