Tilly and the Wall

I'm shocked we don't have a thread on them I could've sworn hookers would make one. Anyway they have a new song out, it's all neon and fantastic.

Pretty cool band.
When I first heard them,
I absolutly Hated them though.
Guess they were a grower

Ah I love this band! Once I can post URLS I found a blog full of their concerts. That and the daytrotter session :)

What a hoe what a tramp what a slut. Tilly and the Wall have created the most trash talking, tap dancing, funnest album of 08.

Thats what people said about them the first time round, i found it far too light.

Is it about the lyrics? Because the music is kinda dull...:\

i heard they're great live. they play around omaha a lot (go figure), and i hope to see them soon. i really enjoy their records. listen to nights of the living dead and chandelier lake.

I saw them play at the Troubadour in L.A on tour after they released, Bottoms Of Barrels. Hands down one of the best shows I've ever been to.

they were in town last friday with conor oberst (a personal hero of mine) and i heard it was great. however, i was unable to get in.

Gone Sugaring 06-30-2009 10:41 PM

Why couldn't you get in?

Omaha 06-30-2009 10:51 PM

the show was at a venue called the anchor inn, and unfortunately, i wasnt old enough to get in. its ok though. tilly and conor both reside in omaha, so i will see them (and ive seen conor/bright eyes four times so its all good)

Aw, that sucks. Thankfully when I saw them they played an all ages show, which of course was a good thing considering I was only 14 at the time.
