Jonathan Richman (soundtrack, album, solo, tracks, quote)

Use to front the Modern Lovers, use to live on the Velvet Underground's managers couch, it's Jonathan Richman. His solo stuff is pretty consistent but at times can be a bit tedious but overall he's pretty solid. I don't really know what album to suggest but I, Jonathan is generally considered his best. True Love Is Not Nice is genius. Oh and he kind of reminds me of Jens Lekman or the Magnetic Fields. I'm bad at making threads haha

No. You are not bad at making threads. Unfortunately I only know the track Roadrunner and wasn't aware of any other contributions he made.

He seems to be pretty into doing soundtracks. YouTube - Jonathan Richman - True Love Is Not Nice This is a good song I've been listening to alot lately. It's not as good as the studio version though.

That did'nt do a whole lot for me I'm afraid but there is more to him than I initially thought. I would'nt mind listening to an album and give a more informed opinion.
