I've only ever listened to Nouns.
But it kicks some serious ass.

Heard it. Just another 'noise-pop' excursion that is like many, many others. Hear it if that's your sort of thing.

I think the new record's actually pretty great. The first two songs especially benefit from the spacier vibe they developed on Losing Feeling. "Glitter" has a nice drony, rumbly thing going and then throws on MBV pedalboard squalls and cheesy Casio hand-clap sound effects. It's a step down experimentally from "Losing Feeling" itself but it's still one of the more interesting singles of the year. Even if it does get a little wonky on the back stretch the album has enough ideas and energy to warrant at least a "grower."

No Age really help build the Los Angeles DIY punk scene. Has anyone seen the movie Dean was in called High School Record? It features a lot of people from the Los Angeles music scene.
