The Miserable Rich

Folk imbued loveliness from Brighton U.K. My friend seen them over in Germany and said they were excellent and judging by the youtube video, he was correct. The album only came out a couple of months back, so hopefully word of mouth starts here.

Great band by the sound of it. I love the song as well. I'll have to keep an eye out for the folks

I've been trying to up stuff to Mediafire for a few folks too - it's being a bit of pain to be honest.

Don't worry if you can't manage it, I'm sure I'll be able to find it somewhere.

jackhammer 01-05-2009 05:52 PM

No. I will sort it as I would doubt whether it's out there yet. Mediafire and megaupload both sucky today and the others are far too slow at uploading for me. It will be worth the wait :)

Sounds very nice indeed, i would be interested in an up when you have a chance

jackhammer 01-05-2009 05:59 PM

No worries, I will pass it on.

Anyone need an up, it's on it's way.

A very enjoyable album.

I would definetly be interested in this. I love the cello. Thanks!

Great album this - got quite a laid back, atmospheric vibe about, which is fine by me really. A bit early for me to pick out individual tracks, but my favourite's probably Monkey so far.

Cheers for the upload :)

Saw this band live in Germany and they blew me away, they come from Brighton and have a funky and chilled sound, their debut album '12 ways to count' was release on the German label Hazlewood. Has anyone heard them and what do you think?

Great video; I love the strings too esp the cello. Thanks for posting this Mr. Hammer!! I bet this band takes off big in folk circles and some crossover genre in USA given time.
