One of the greatest post-2000's bands to reach any sort of cultural relevance imo. Much more interesting than the White Stripes, and much more fun to listen to than Radiohead or Brand New.

The Suburbs is one of those albums for me. A treasure of my teenage years - can't help getting nostalgic every time I listen to it. Certainly helps the effect given the subject matter.

I'm with adidasss though, their latest album wasn't very good. Their last great one was Reflektor, and even that one was a bit of a disappointment in retrospect.
