Fate is the best album I've heard in a long time. More people need to listen to this stuff.

i'll admit i was worried when it started but it's interesting, there's alot of sounds going on here but i think their last.fm says it best:

“There’s a little folk, blues, indie rock, soul, bluegrass—and a whole lot of down-home harmonizing.''

Probably a bit too chipper for me at 6 in the morning in the freezing wastes with no central heating, but I wouldn't rule it out!

If Bulldog wasn't face down in the gutter in a drunken coma right now I think he would dig this.

I've literally heard these cats for the first time today, 'the rabbit, the bat and the reindeer' and 'the ark' have been on repeat for quite a while now!

Got a hold of 'fate' and it is one of the best albums i've heard in a while. Really speaks to me.

Absolutely brilliant stuff, can't believe i'd not heard of them before, they seem to have made quite a mark throughout the past couple of years.

I couldn't find a thread about these guys. These guys are truly amazing, We All Belong and Fate are two fantastic albums.

Dr. Dog is a psychedelic rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Their sound has been compared to that of various 1960s pop bands, especially The Beatles and The Band, as well as The Beach Boys
