Listening to Post-Nothing at the moment. These guys are great, can't wait for Celebration Rock.

Celebration Rock is a pretty good album although not entirely consistent, but 'Fire's Highway', 'Evil's Sway' and 'Younger Us' are great songs. There's nice youthful energy captured on the album that gives me the impression that these guys would be killer live, although I could be wrong. But still this is good album of high-energy, no-frills indie rock.

That's what I really enjoy about Post-Nothing, their obnoxious youth attitude. It sounds great. And damn, I forget his name but the drummer is absolutely fantastic.

Finally giving Celebration Rock a listen. So far so good.

'Younger Us' and 'The House That Heaven Built' are my favorite indie rock songs since the Cloud Nothings release earlier this year...

That's weird you say that cause as I was listening to Celebration Rock, I thought about the Cloud Nothings album for some reason.

Celebration Rock didn't have the immediate impact that Post Nothing did for me, but after a few listens it has grown on me. I knew it would be hard to top PN, so I can't say I'm disappointed. Good stuff.

'Celebration Rock' is a truly fun album, one of the best released this year. I do prefer Cloud Nothings though.

I feel like the Japandroids and Cloud Nothings serve two different purposes. I want Japandroids when I'm drinking and want to just enjoy some awesome rock to add to the good mood. The Cloud Nothings are for when I'm pissed at life and need to scream it out.

That's true, Cloud Nothings have a much darker edge to their music, but I enjoy how they use volume and energy to create a much more unsettling effect, when Japandroids are all about reminiscing and having a good time, making their music much brighter. I love both, but I am much more attracted to the gloominess that Cloud Nothings produce.
