Norway, Denmark, and Iceland are really good at this sort of thing too. Must be the long winters.

three words:

karin dreijer andersson

I'm in love with her, the Knife, Fever Ray, and she worked with Royksopp on a couple tracks that are amazing. love her.

I really need to move there someday. I have a feeling I wouldn't even mind the cold.

well...it was up to -25 degrees celsius this winter in Ukraine (my birthplace)
and my old peugeot 405 (1988) worked fine ))) I don't think it was much colder this winter in Scandinavia.

the weather is normal in Stockholm now

Scandinavia is quite big and spans a lot of latitude. You can't really say what the winter temperatures "there" are ;) There are places where it's been much colder than -25 and places where it never got that cold at all.
