Love Beck, Stereopathetic Soulmanure through Odelay is all awesome. Unfortunately, haven't listened to a lot of the more recent stuff.

Kinda bores me a bit now, Beck needs to reinvent himself and go back to basics

I love this, very "mellowgoldesque", also, I do like everything from him.

Try the new single, is a collaborating with Jack White, reminds a lot of his early stuff...

Jack White is in everything these days, and I can't stand his voice.

I listened to that new song. Man, it doesn't sound anything like Mellow Gold. It's not abstract at all, which is what Beck is so good at. He's just repeating some stupid chorus through that whole song it seems. On Mellow Gold and Odelay he was rapping with country guitars laced with sitars, or talking about "getting crazy with the cheese wiz". Seriously, Beck needs to get crazy with the cheese wiz, and sing about eating tacos with aphid-lettuce and **** like that again. This song has elements of Beck I like MUSICALLY, but lyrically he's not back yet.

I always appreciated Beck so much because of how creatively random he was.
