Have any of you heard of Marti Jones? She's an indie singer/songwriter who was pretty active during the 80s, but is very obscure these days. She was married to Don Dixon, who in addition to producing albums such as R.E.M.'s classic debut Murmur, produced her great 1985 record Unsophisticated Time. It's one of my parents favorite albums, who have it on vinyl, and it's been out of print for a long time but after much searching I found a FLAC copy of it and converted it to .mp3. It's such a great album!

Now she paints I guess.

Has anyone heard of her/listened to any of her music?
