A Sunny Day In Glasgow

A great dream pop band hailing from the city of Philidelpia with twins and some dude as the core members.

Sounds really cool. I just can't believe it took someone from Baltimore to tell me about a great band right in my backyard like this. :p:

Implying that I don't live 3 hours away from Philidelphia, haha.

The point is I live in Philadelphia and I hadn't heard them.

I love these guys. Their music is quite progressive for this type of music. I usually lump them in with shoegazers...I think they are just fuzzy and distorted enough to be counted as that.

I have Scribble Mural Comic Journal and Ashes Grammar. Both are great, but I definitely recommend Scribble Mural...it's really addictive. It's the kind of addictive where I didn't really know why it is, but I just couldn't stop listening to it. It feels like all the little bits in their music by themselves don't make any sense, but put together they create this beautiful whole...really creative stuff.

I only have Ashes Grammer and it's a really good album. There's so much going on in their music, there's lots of different layers and textures and every time i listen to Ashes Grammer i discover something new. It does seem very fragmented but it all fits together nicely.

I've been meaning to get Scribble Mural Comic Journal for a while now, i'll get right on it.

My copy of "Ashes, Grammar" didn't have "Close Chorus" on it. It's weird though, I've gone like a year without hearing one of their best songs. I feel like I've been deprived of something great, but I suppose it's got that fresh feeling which is nice.

I can't get over how good Sea When Absent is. It's more accessible than their previous stuff but still retains everything which makes them so interesting.
