Generous Music Records is proud to release “Generous Music,” the debut album from Elijah Tucker. Opening and closing with the sound of Mr. Tucker’s beating heart, the enclosed collection of songs--by turns joyful and melancholy--is a richly textured expression of that heart’s passions and hunger.

The songs run the gamut from the rock’n’soul benedictions of early Bruce Springsteen and Van Morrison, to the penetrating emotion of Jerry Garcia/Robert Hunter collaborations, to the cheeky pop of David Byrne. These songs feel right at home next to anything from Beck, the Flaming Lips, Bon Iver, and Wilco.
