Hi. I'm new, so I can't link to anything yet. I'm listening to Buke and Gase. I saw them open for Tomahawk a few weeks ago. I'd never heard of them before. They were amazing. Tomahawk were pretty great too.

Welcome new guy, good job listening to Tomahawk. I haven't heard of Buke and Gase, what are they like?

It's a guy and girl duo. They make their own instruments. She plays an electric bass ukelele and does most of the singing. He plays some weird guitar strung with bass strings. The arrangements reminded me a lot of a mellow version of Battles. Which makes sense, because John Stanier was in Battles. They were nice people, too.

I still can't post URLs, but in theory, if you were to go to youtu.be and add a SfpeLblhbeQ, there'd be a Youtube video of them talking about their instruments.

I really like the new April March & Aquaserge album. Aquaserge has a couple of former Stereolab members and they're my favorite indie/electronica/pop band at the moment. Black Bars is the opening cut on the album.

I'm listening to Blind Pilot's "We Are the Tide" album for the first time. I'm not sure I'll make it through. It sounds like the guy from .fun doing an impersonation of Arcade Fire meets Jack Johnson on a day when they were all sleepy. It's very dull so far.

"We Are The Tide" was really dull, but "3 Rounds and a Sound" was really nice.

I need one more post before I can post this that I am listening to right now.

Blind Pilot is one of my favorites. I have seen them twice promoting We Are the Tide and they were not dull at all. I do prefer 3 Rounds and a Sound, but I appreciate the new one. I think "The Colored Night" is my favorite track, but I also love "Half Moon":

Nadine Shah's Love Your Dum And Mad album. Her music reminds me of PJ Harvey at times.

I stumbled upon them a few months back. I really dig their sound. Wormfood is the album; they're from Detroit. I don't know too much about them. "Water" is my favorite track(I may have posted before, but oh well, here it is again):

I have been listening to this album quite a bit the past couple of days: Ripley Pine, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper. I like it, a lot.

Ive been finding a lot of good stuff lately. I like a russian band called on the go, them swoops has a good new track called work around it. I like the Cold war kids new album. JUst getting used to the new Vampire weekend album really like the track step.

Just found this band from the UK called The Musgraves, they're great! I like how they can go from perky to slow and subdued while still maintaining the perfect blending of their voices and instruments. Just discovered this band, Love the mood and vocals, songwriting could use some work, but they don't even have an album out yet so....

I not sure what I would call this other then awesome... so in indie it goes.... even though there are trip hop elements, techno, and spoken word.... hrmmm...
