I had a hell of a time deciding between the two, but in the end I realized no matter how conflicted I feel I'm still voting for Damon so I don't feel as guilty having voted for Gorillaz.

Gorillaz were/are better of course, but I still love Blur.
|
Gorillaz just sounds like another alternative rock/hip-hop hybrid. Love Blur though, or at least a few albums, so I voted for them.
|
I've never cared about Blur at all. They're irrelevant to me.
But I don't like being bullied so I'll take the bullet. |
I like Gorillaz but I love Blur. Gorillaz I loved initially but found it only bore a brief honeymoon period of intense saturation before I was satiated. Blur I still love 13 as much as when I first heard it and though their other albums don't have quite the replayability they still have some excellent songs.

No competition. Blur was a good band but in terms of creativity and enjoyability Gorillaz blow them out of the water. Also Demon Days will always have a place in my heart as the first album I ever bought.

I'm a fan of Graham Coxon & Alex James but Albarn is a c*nt.
I think it's pretty obvious where my vote is going. |

I used to be a buyer for a supermarket, one of my responsibilities was being knowledgeable about cheese, so I'm biased.

You like him in spite of said cheese ramblings then? Or do you like him because of them? For whatever reason I also associate Alex James with Brian Cox and I just can't help but think "twat" whenever I see either of them now. |
