Yeah The Cult has to go....and I'd say knock of Dead Can Dance but only because I don't think they stand a chance against the big names up there

I was never taken by Ministry but then again, it's been many years since I heard 'em. Perhaps they're due another listen. It was between them and The Pogues for me. I reckon The Cult need to be the first for the chop though, for sure

I also agree with Neapolitan that it's tricky to include Bad Seeds/Birthday Party as one vote - I much prefer The Birthday Party in general, and they'd be in my top 3 or 4 of the bands mentioned. Whereas the Bad Seeds aren't quite up there, good as they sometimes are. The Bad Seeds are more of an 80s product than TBP though - well, they released more anyway.
