I came back here expecting these guys to have been savaged ruthlessly. I come to find there's no mention of them. Come on, MB. You're better than that.

They sound (from the single) a bit manufactured. A Hozier meets Maroon 5 if you were. I'm going to head through the album (since you lot didn't do your jobs) and follow up.

They sound like a band you could hear while shopping for clothing at one store in the mall, then go to another store and hear again, but won't be sure if it's the same band or not.

Sorry, that was tepid at best; my heart's just not in it anymore.

We're all getting old, friend. I'll be 35 in November. The horror. I've found in my old age I just can't be bothered to explain to people anymore.

Here's a funny story about getting ancient:

I started a new gig August 2016, and in May of this year, Boston Calling was coming up so I'm sitting around with work colleagues and I say "Man, this line up isn't bad this year, huh?"

They're about 25 and they're going off about Chance and Run The Jewels and a gap emerges so I say "Yeah, I'm kind of excited TOOL is coming back. It's been forever"

"Oh yeah, I'm kind of surprised their on that bill"

"Really? Why?" says I, stupidly

"I don't know, aren't they dad rock?"

Kids are *******s, you know?

I'm a Tool fan and I consider them dad rock. It's kind of a middle grounded young dad rock though because it still holds onto a lot of the teenagery elements though.

It's more demographic based than sound based imo. In 20 years, Death Grips will probably be considered dad rock.
