Red Organ Serpent Sound (alternative, country, house, punk, rap)

as i like to call them..ROSS (a lot easier to say)

just heared them on mtv2 with the song 'In search of Orgazmus' and that.. 'oo'... very different (maybe less so nowadays with so many "different bands") and also very good. also very hard to describe so looked them up and this is how one reporter guy summed 'em up:

"Red Organ Serpent Sound are five unusual souls from Derry, Northern Ireland. This in itself could begin to explain their detached otherworldliness. Perhaps suitably, this enclave of the empire has managed to produce a band that can only be described as individual, to use the word 'alternative', further compounds their otherness.

The sounds are a combustible chemistry of New Wave meets 70's Rock automatically fused with supercharged intergalactic country punk galvanised with Arthouse edginess all perfectly showcased in the debut single 'In Search Of Orgasmuz'."

anybody else heared them?

yeah i saw that song on mtv2 recently. doesnt really do nowt for me though. too similiar to everything else thats floating around today

honestly - I advise everyone to see this band - they are actually different -

to say the killers and razorlight arent similar and the strokes and . . . . . . so on -

Am actually quite horrified that u feel they are too similar to bands around at the minute - I appreciate ur opinion but have to ask what band "In Search Of Orgasmus" reminds you of - cause i simply cant see it!!

for the record i am a rap fan they turned me - i have seen them several times, easily in double figures, i advise u to go see them once and u will become a groupie!!

honestly see this band - Rory is a showman and they are touring at the minute!!

well worth going to the website to watch the video again!!
