Please help- What genre?!?
 

Hi there!
I've found this new band through a friend that I am in love with and they've recently come out with this album 'Welcome to my Hell'. I'm obsessed with the songs on here especially 'Abuse me' but I have no idea what genre it is?? I would consider it a mix between grunge and punk and rock. Can anyone please help me so I can find other similar bands?

I would probably label this as grunge as it has a very lo fi and heavily distorted sound.

As for other bands go, check out Kapitan Korsakov from Belgium and Dinosaur Pile Up from UK.

I'm listening with great pleasure to the songs on here, but I have no idea what genre it is?? I would consider it a mix between folk, pop, and post rock. Can anyone please help me so I can figure out this intriguing artist who has a discography of about sixty albums on Allmusic.com, but (despite working with Wilco and Sonic Youth), has zero mentions on MB. :confused:

Although the album cover is pretty disturbing, Eureka is actually a charming, quirky easy listen :-

I mean, then call it that.
Or just rock. The sub-genres thing doesn't make much sense anyway
