Can you recognize this band
 

Hi palls,

I am very anxious because for years i am unable to ID this band.

Some details

I recorded this from vinyl, i don't remember SP, EP, or LP

It was in 1989 in Austria where i recorded it on tape.
this are two songs played segue.

I note on tape Senator Flux, but this is not.
I used to bother lot of my friends who are into this music post punk, new wave, indie but still nobody is able to came with a name..

There is not such songs..
and the vocals are definitely others..
So, i am penchant to infer that this is not AC/DC, friend

I don't recognize the band but you could try typing some of the lyrics into your search bar and see if that gives you any clues. I've tried doing that before and sometimes it leads to the artist/band.

I don't know what this is but I like it a lot and will try to help you identify it the best I can (by asking those more knowledgeable than myself).

I am thinking this band shouldn't be too far from bands like Legendary pink dots or Flux of the pink indians

My search engine did not return the thing you are referring to on soundcloud. I dont know why that is.

The clip is unlikely to disappear any time soon. Rather than just concentrating on this particular issue, I suggest you involve yourself in some of the other discussions on the forum. You are sure to find something that fires your interest, and you will rack up those 15 posts before you know it - then you'll be able to revisit this thread and provide us with the link directly.

And, if we really like you, we'll let you be insulted by the Batlord :D

I think that rule exists to stop spammers who join the forum specifically to post a link to their own site. 15 posts - and certainly 15 threads - is taken as evidence that you're not a spambot and you actually have an interest in the forum topics.

This tape where i got this two songs i am searching the author behind them, this tape i loaded with
1. Various – Meltdown On Media Burn- 1986
mostly garage and psychobilly bands ..

2 Untold fables - Every mother is a nightmare

3. this two songs .. but i mark them as played by Senator flux, but they are not..I even wrote to the profile on FB of senator flux to ask them about this..I was thinking that there might be some other vocal in some previous period...

I am sure i recorded this from a vinyl But not sure was it LP, SP, or EP.

so i got this two songs for almost 30 years and i was thinking this is Senator flux.
till one day two years back when i decide to have more songs like this, and downloaded lot from Senator Flux, but nothing there sounded like this

I made lot of noise in 4 or 5 rooms in Soul seek but nobody was able to point to the correct band.
I am feeling that i am exhausting all the possibilities to ID the band.
the years pasts and people who might know who is playing are smaller.
I am thinking to write to some site related with John Peel.

this conundrum really gets me anxious...

Being a garage rock fan myself, I can tell you what songs the first track isn't as I've heard the original version of these. It isn't the following...

Wild Man
Seven and Seven Is
Little Girl
I Want My Woman
My Flash On You

Two songs, Last Night and Valley of the Purple are on YouTube and it is neither one of those. Also, the song appears to be about seven minutes long.

That leaves the songs that I've bolded. I have heard the Milkshakes though so I don't think it's them. I'll see if I can narrow it down a little more for you.

Hate to tell you but all of these songs are on YouTube and none of them sound like the track on Soundcloud. Are you sure that's the album the first song was on?

Incidentally have heard I Want You too. That was originally done by the Troggs

no, no...The songs from Melt down I got marked correctly.. also the songs from Untold fables.
just last 15 minutes on tape are with those two songs played segue.


a guy from soul seek uploaded it on soundcloud. when i asked one of the room in soul seek to ID the songs.

i used my smartphone mic to record the sound from my cassette player, that is why the sound is horrific, but i hope it will be enough for one to ID the band.

I am still anxious that after so many years in searching for the name of the band, i am unable to meet at least one guy able to say which this band it is

If you have to determine the style of this two songs, which it will be...garage? Psychedelic? Acid?
which other bands play in this style?

I don't think there is a forum for 60's garage but UglyThings Magazine | Wild Sounds From Past Dimensions might be a good place to look. They list just about all the garage compilations. No sound files, unfortunately, but some great articles and a fantastic database if you're trying to locate a specific song.

I believe the band we are looking for is near Fuzztones Thee Hypnotics LOOP

Guys, especially one who are the carriers of English, can you try to identify some of the words...like this might be easier to pops up something in google search
