celtic music

I have an interest in Celtic music but have not really been exposed to it. Are there some groups/singers that anyone would like to recommend I listen to?

I"m a fan of Irish singer Christy Moore. He sings in English, traditional Irish songs, and he's got a great voice. I also really like the Pogues, the Irish Rovers and the Dubliners. They're not technically Celtic singers, more Irish than anything. Still, they're easy to get into and may help you delve deeper into Celtic traditional.

I'd say its a good idea to look up names of famous traditional celtic songs like "matty groves" and "johnny scarecrow." search for them on limewire or something, and look up the numerous bands that have made covers of them.
