Wow we hear "biggest cat I've ever seen" regularly, including turning heads in downtown Denver w/ that remark but "most beautiful"? I say so, but wasn't entirely sure I wasn't being bias. Thanks

Do you keep your cat (the cloud one) indoors then?

Yeah if I had a cat I reckon I'd get one from a shelter, would do it now but not possible right now tbh. There's a little skinny white cat who comes into the garden though, feel sorry for it as I don't think anyone owns it. I fed it tuna once then later that night it was sat outside my bedroom window meowing :D

Cats are great.

^Yeah by law Persians and Ragdolls must be kept indoors ALWAYS - they make you sign a contract. I think it's a good rule for all cats n dogs tho. They're not taught about traffic. . . .

Some breeders in Britain have tried to breed away from the limpness due to concerns that extreme docility "might not be in the best interests of the cat". On multiple occasions, ragdolls have been reported as nonchalantly approaching moving cars and vicious dogs and getting hurt.
Ahh :(

actually the opposite is true for two reasons. the first is that purebred animals are quite often inbred. the second is that crossbreeding animals makes for stronger genetics by some molecular selection process (or something of the sort) that goes on which tends to favour the better genetic attributes of the progenitors.

^I've heard that too. They come ready tho (all shots and vaccines so nothing is given to the pets they're going to live w/) unlike shelter pets who could have and spread leukemia etc. A lot of shelters can only afford to give basic vaccinations and leave colds etc untreated.
