Ok fair enough. I think the joke has lost it's meaning now because I've had to explain that I'm not actually into stereotypes myself but used one as a topic of conversation.

Not if you don't keep up with current events and maybe it's not that big of a deal in New Zealand. Just another black kid in a hoodie getting shot to their news sources.

I'm not surprised honestly.....

I heard the 911 call I think it was, from Zimmerman and you can hear Trayvon screaming, it was heartbreaking and absolutely devastating. Even wore, Travyon was portrayed as a "thug" because news outlets found out he sold weed (BFD) but Adam Lanza was "the quiet friendless boy that no one knew".....and he murdered children. BUT YEAH stereotypes are totally harmless and we are totally living in a post racial society amirite!

People don't realise how racist the world still is, especially in light of the Paula Deen incident, people are still defending her!!! Pathetic

The only problem we have with hoodies here is that some people use them to hide their faces when they are robbing a store etc. We occasionally have students being truant and also some malls have guidelines that says you can't have you hood up when inside. Other than that it's not really a big deal.

While it's well known my cat is gorgeous/handsome etc most people who only see photos of him don't know what a dick he is :laughing: he's very standoffish and only shows affection when he feels like it and does whatever he wants all the time, I think my personality rubbed off on him but I finally caught him on camera being affectionate:
