She's definitely a long hair and I watched a cats 101 earlier on YouTube and they said RB usually have short dense coats so I'm not sure if she's just a kitty mutt or an anomaly but I dc either way. They also said Russians are loyal to a fault and good cats all the way around so yeah we're chilling. She was actually returned to the huame society by another family which breaks my heart a little but their loss is my gain so w/e.

I got my cat from Indianapolis. Their humane society has a website with all the cuties on it, super convenient.

Yeah same place I bet. I didn't go online first but my friend did and was trying to sell me on an adult cat named lemon. I've done my part for the nice cat though, I wanted something tiny and adorable. Was totally unplanned too. She called me and asked if I wanted to join and my only response was "well **** I guess I'm getting a kitten today."

A friend of mine has a Russian Blue who's reaching her final years. It's a little heartbreaking since she's been my buddy since she was a kitten. When I come over she's always there to greet me and plop down next to me. We can tell she's losing her sight, and she gets confused easily, which means... ugh. Yeah.

On another note, here's my buddies wayward feral cat that he keeps feeding. I watched this little guy swipe a bird out the air. He's a fierce mofo, and I won't touch him, but my buddy hand feeds him.

I'll try to get a pic of my feral cat buddy who hangs out with me when I smoke at the train station.

There was a feral cat that used to sit on my lap. She was taken in by someone and, as far as I know, she's doing fine. She was a tiny thing.

That's a bummer. The last of my childhood pets is in that spot. She's gotta be at least 23 years old by now. Deaf and going blind and all sorts of aliments but she still hanging in and still trots around outside all day.

Back to the lighter notes: please god make it stop
Spoiler for big ass pic:

First pets I ever had were three kittens from a feral cat that just sort of wandered into our apartment and gave birth under my mom's bed when I was like four. Haven't not had pets ever since.

Haha, same. We've had all sorts of litters since the first feral showed up preggo. She give birth under our deck and my parents felt guilty and didn't want the kittens to die. Finally started to get them fixed after one litter was born in my mom's closet.

Had one cat get pregnant like a decade ago and we kept them in my mom's room with a couple rescues who were too young to get neutered and... we had a lot of cats for a while don't ask we like to assure ourselves the third generation aren't incest babies.
