Default I'm new...what about it?!

I hate the "newbie" routine. It has such a diminutive vibe about it and puts the poor newbie at the bottom of the heap. Ah, such is the way of social behavior and bb forums... So, should I try to shake my newbie status by ingratiating myself to the popular kids, or should I revel in it and try to get away with as much b.s. as possible under the cloak of "newness?"

Forgive my ramblings, I wonder a lot. Too much. Way too much.

So, I joined the forum cuz I really love music, have a music web site, and am looking to meet other like-minded folk. I'm just starting to get into band promotion (as a result of my work) and really need to tap into the musical inclinations of the masses. Right now (forever, really) my favorite genre is classic rock, but I wonder if it's only because I work too much and don't take time to check out new stuff and explore the whole musical realm. I'm open to suggestions!

Nice to meet you!

Roxie
