Default Hi to all.

Hi all. I live in Brisbane Australia and I am in my late 40's. I have had a deep love of music of all genre's all my life. There are very few styles that I dislike though I am not a fan of Classic Rock and some Metal. I try to see as much Live music as possible and as recently as last month caught Paul Weller live. I have tix for Robert Fisher of Willard Grant Conspiracy fame and also Howe Gelb of Giant Sand fame. I am so that I keep a journal of what I listen to.
It goes like this over the last few days.

Willard Grant Conspiracy. Pilgrim Road.
Willard Grant Conspiracy. Regard The End.

Bon Iver. For Emma Forever Ago.

Sorry Sad I know.

I do not have specific favorite artists but I guess there have been a few over the years that have been of massive influance that I do periodically come back to. Bowie, Ed Kuepper from The Saints, New Zealander Chris Knox, Velvet Underground and all things John Cale, Brian Eno, Dead Can Dance and plenty more that I cannot remember.

Again Hi to all and great to be onboard.

Cheers. I just made my first post in the Classical music section. A tentative start.

A couple of questions if I may be so bold. If I write a gig review where would I put it? In it's specific genre thread? I have looked and am unsure that I see any.

Also what is Last FM?

I'd do a search for the artist in question and pop it in there, if you can't find a thread then feel free to make on on the artist.

And this is Last FM, it rocks. Last.fm – The Social Music Revolution

Welcome by the way!
