Recently joined, but I totally missed this forum! I didn't think there was an introduction forum, so I was just reading other music posts. :p

anyway, my name is Chelsea, I live in Canada! For the most part my favourite genres are post-punk, punk, and metal.. but I listen to a lot of different stuff (no, not "everything"!). I'm pretty friendly, weird, and I read a lot.

so what happened to the dog? (I expected a good story I must admit... )

Favorite bands?

Well I found out that watering a dog won't make it grow. ;) I live in Ontario, just an hour or so away from Toronto in a city called Hamilton.

My favourite bands? Therion, Dead Can Dance, Sun City Girls, Voivod, Swans, The Smiths and Christian Death. =) I try to mix things up a bit but hopefully this forum will open my mind to genres that I never quite cared for before, like hip hop and such!

The Smiths are cool.

Great list of bands. Voivod are one of my favourites. Welcome aboard.

Sun City Girls are good.

Swans are great.

Dead Can Dance are so-so.

Christian Death are...I've never heard.

I would imagine they are pretty bad.

Lol! :D I'm glad to see that some people already know some of the bands I really love here. Most people irl would be like "LOLWAT SWANS SOUND LIKE BIRDS" thanks for making me feel welcome!

Christian Death is like.. deathrock, kinda post-punk ish.. you might like them ;)

I enjoy Christian deaths so maybe I'll enjoy Christian Death.
