Paid Performers
 

Hey music people,

I'm new to this forum, and fairly new to them in general.

I'm a performer going by the name American Nobody... based in Portland, Oregon.

I'm looking forward to participating in this forum as well as others. If you have any suggestions on other forums to check out, just let me know!

I'm a full-time musician, and I'm wondering how others are fairing in the music business. (eeewww- the "biz" word)

If you are a paid performer, and you feel that your city's venues are paying musicians fairly... I'd love to hear from you! If you think wages are unfair, I'd also love to know.

I think that bands/performers are working hard for very little. How can we change that into a more fair system?
