Hello everyone I'm Johanna, or just Jo. I'm totally in love with music. I truly believe it is the most fundamental thing in life. Screw breathing and eating and cell division, music is sufficient.

welcome, what music do you like?

welcome to you; however, if you don't learn to like this cell division thing, we might not get along.

 Are you a biologist? I'm pretty certain that I'm mostly robotic so really the cell division thing is pretty useless to me. Humans got the bad end of the stick, cell division but no photosynthesis. Who's idea was that.

A wide variety. I play piano/keyboard and classical guitar. Some of my favorite artists include Pink Floyd, Devo, Sage Francis, The Clash, Cake, The Doors, Jerry Lee Lewis, Led Zep, Queensryche, Van Morrison, the beatles, mates of state, Eric Burdon & War, Rush, the Yardbirds, the creepy creeps, and a bunch of underground music, mostly punk.

Haha, indeed a biologist, I am. How'd you guess? Well, our version of photosynthesis is a little bit more complex, but I concur. I, too, would like to be a leafy green good. Anyway, your mini-list of bands makes up for your hate of cell division. :P Welcome, friend, welcome.

Only a biologist would jump at that remark.
I know very little about biology. I once drew a very beautiful and detailed cell and gave it to my biology teacher. I believe that was my biggest contribution in that field. I study mechanical engineering.
Good thing I redeemed myself with that list. Thanks for welcoming.

You're welcome and I am not quite a biologist yet. I am still one in the works. Mechanical engineering, eh? We've a buncha smartypants up in the piece. How is the local music scene in New Mexico?

Welcome. Nice varied tastes there too :thumb:

Not really, all I do is put but with all the homework and get raped at every exam but somehow I still get by with decent grades.
I like the scene here. I'm not to familiar with the Northern NM scene, my band doesn't play up there very often. Here in southern New Mexico the house show scene is huge (at least for a small town). We mainly have thrash, crust punk, and psychobilly bands.
