A reintroduction

I'm sure some of the moderators remember me.... Doubt anyone else here does though.

Out of the blue I remembered spending entire school days my junior year in high school, in class on my laptop posting and being a moderator here. It brought back some fond memories...and since the forum I've been posting on just changed hands and is falling apart, I figure maybe I'll come around here a little more often. I kinda miss this place.

Anyway....how's this place been?

Yeah I was looking through the mod list and I figured it had to be you seeing as you're the only one with such a ridiculous post count.

To answer your question: Yes. I graduated in June of last year and I've been studying audio engineering at a local community college. Assuming all happens in my favor, I'll be opening up a small studio within the next couple of years.

What about you? You're still in high school right?

sleepy jack 06-05-2009 12:04 AM

Yeah I'm graduating...saturday haha. Audio engineering sounds dope. Are you still playing with your band you were in? I can't remember the name it's been so long.

^Yes and no. We haven't really played a show (or even practiced for that matter) in a couple of months, but we haven't made a parting of ways official. The other guitar player and I are working on starting up a new project though. Something a little more shredalicious.

Congrats on graduating by the way.

Thanks man. Hey, maybe if I spend enough time here I can rejoin the moderating team...make it like old times. hahaha

Finally. A fellow audio engineering enthusiast.
Welcome back!

It's good to know there are more of us around here now. Last time I was remotely active here there were few people who knew much about audio production.

Hey PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe! I'm sure I'm a new face to you but it's cool to have you back here. That's pretty sweet that you're studying audio engineering. It's definitely something I have a lot of interest in though I've only ever taken two classes in it. Eventually I plan to study it a lot more.
