Hails and horns, Music Banter.
I'm Facechewer, a representative of the Comedic Death Metal band "Decapitorium." I recently left a forum, and needed to find a new one to wheedle opinions from. Opinion's on Decapitorium's music, that is. But enough about me, let's talk about Decapitorium.

I'm the guitarist of Decapitorium. I'm also, a backup vocalist, and I write all of the music. Well, most of it. Andrew usually comes up with drum beats, and Kevin does his own thing with the bass, but I oversee it all. I write the guitar part, which then becomes a guideline for the drums and bass, and I write all of the lyrics. I have a hand in the drum parts (e.g. advising areas in which blast beats and double bass should occur) as well. I also named the band.

I didn't, however, found the band. In fact, I was the last member in the original lineup to join the band. Decapitorium was the brainchild of Andrew (our drummer) and Clifford (our first vocalist.) Kevin's (the bassist) initial enthusiasm towards the idea helped to make it a reality. Finally, I was asked to be the guitarist, since I'm the only metal guitarist in Chattanooga, apparently.

Later, Cat (a cellist) was invited to join the band, but with her tight schedule, she was unable to make it to most of our practices, and thus, has no major role in any of our songs. Finally, when Clifford went off to do some college related garbage, Kyle (our current vocalist) was drafted into the band. Our current lineup is:

Me - Guitars/Backup vocals
Andrew - Drums
Kevin - Bass/Rhythm Guitar
Kyle - Bass & Vocals
Jared - Sound Technician/Manager

Jared, one of my long time best friends, recently decided to do mixing work, as well as recording FOR FREE, so that's pretty awesome. When we begin to play more live shows, he'll obviously get a cut of the earnings. But enough about Decapitorium, let's talk about me.

In addition to being a charismatic, sinister and awesome metal guitarist, I'm an insufferable nerd. My favorite hobby is Dungeons and Dragons. I like 3.5e. 4e is terrible and is for terrible people. I also like Warhammer 40k, Magic the Gathering and PC gaming. My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper. I'm the deity of my own cult, which has between twenty and thirty members locally, three in Germany, several scattered across the US, and at least one in Canada. I also have a wicked falsetto.

My membership on this forum will include posting Decapitorium's works for criticism, and being snide. Well, I guess I'll wrap this up. I've got faces to chew.

You wont get much response to your work if you don't contribute anything else to the forum. We tend to dislike people who just come here to promote themselves. Spend a bit of time being snide before you submit your stuff.
