Smile Hello from emram

Hello. I just decided to join. Music is something that has never let me down. I am going through a tough time now with illness and sort of a really confusing time is at hand. So I am online way too much and not doing much of anything. I have rearranged my music collection a thousand times and then suddenly decided to look for a nice forum.
I am 40. The first album that i ever bought for myself was Against the Wind by Bob Seger. The first album that I bought in a coming of age way was ABC - The lexicon of Love. I listen to everything and anything that is good. I miss the 80s . Dont know if its the 80s per se or what that they meant to me as far as what i was going through that time. Its funny to see how John Hughes has passed on and how he spoke out to so many of us that might now have known how common it was to not be common. My all time favorite rock band is Van Halen. Best concert ever too - saw them on the Balance tour in San Antonio. By the way I was raised in the midwest but now live in South America. At this very instant I am listening to Rick Springfield ! I have no shame. BUt I also have a great classical , jazz and baroque collection. I love Rap and R and B. I love music , its one way that I know that Life loves back. Glad to be here , thanks to all of you for having this place to come to.
