New college kid

Hey all my name's Kyle, stumbled across the forum and thought I'd join cuz it looked pretty sick. I'm currently going to Eastern Arizona College, a small (and I mean small) school in the tiny farming town of Thatcher/Safford, AZ. I grew up in Phoenix. I'm a big car/truck guy and also a big music fan. I listen to a lot of alternative/metal/screamo bands ie Saosin, Underoath, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, August Burns Red, Alexisonfire, Silverstein, etc. as well as a pretty good variety of indie music. Glad to be here!

I have one quick question, is there a way to automatically get subscribed to threads you post in like some of the other forums I've been on, or do you have to hit subscribe on each one? Thanks guys!

Welcome! To subscribe to threads, click on User CP, then go to Edit Options. The settings are somewhere there. I think the forum default is "Do Not Subscribe" but you can change that.

I used to live in Surprise.

And for the subscription, it's in the UserCP, under edit options. You can search for "Default Thread Subscription Mode".

Hey thanks guys, I figured there was an option somewhere for that.

And Surprise isn't too far away from me, I live (well when I'm not at school anyway) at 43rd & Loop 101. And I'm guessing you were like 115th & Bell or so? I've been over to Willow Canyon High a couple times. Anyway, hi former neighbor! What'd you leave Surprise for?

I lived right by Bell and the 303. I was only there living with relatives for a bit, left because I went back to university.
