Just a little hello thread

Hey, my name is Kyle, I'm 18 and Canadian, and I'm an aspiring musician. I play the piano, guitar and drums. I also LOVE singing and writing my own music. When I'm not doing those things, I also love producing music. So in short, music is my life :)
Anyways, I'm here to give and get constructive criticism on lyrics/poetry.

Edit: I'll also let you know what bands I'm in to ;]

Crime In Stereo
Brand New
Dance Gavin Dance - First two albums were good, the rest are downhill :(

Those are the best of the 3 genres of music I prefer.
Hardcore, alternative rock? (That's what I think Brand New is, feel free to disagree) and Post - Hardcore.

I think the exercises, such as chords and scales, are relatively similar.
