Hi there. I assume you are all sick of these threads by now, but re her guide said to make one of these and who am I to argue with the guide?

I'm not quite sure what to put here, but here I go;

I didn't know where to post this, so I came here.

You know how there is a Indie and Alternative section...
What classifies something as alternative?

NumberNineDream 01-29-2010 03:44 PM

I guess they mean Alternative Rock, and in this case Wiki is your best friend.
Though there are always debated about this subject, and also debates about what can be classified as "indie". Though I think if there's a band that seems fishy, you can just ask about it in its thread.

mrguy 01-29-2010 08:59 PM

Do we still consider Muse alternative?
