I'm Hohner. I got that nickname from people in my neighborhood when I was very young, because I didn't talk much so hardly anyone knew my name, but I always had my Hohner melodica with me and it was very distinctive, so people just started calling me that.

I grew up in Los Angeles, CA, USA, but live near Nuernberg, Bayern, DE.

I play percussion, including drums, the piano, and xylophone, but also the clavinet, and of course the melodica.

I like all types of music. I've played with rock, jazz, and a couple of hip-hop groups.

My favorite artist is Damon Albarn, particularly his work under "Gorillaz," and my favorite instrument is the melodica.

I'm not a professional artist, and I don't think I really could be. Currently I work as a paramedic.

I had never heard of the melodica until you mentioned it. I did some research on it, and It seems like a pretty cool instrument. Anyways, Welcome to the site.
