Hey folks,

JoomRock here and to put it simply I'm on a mission to find out how to promote my buddies band as efficiently as I can. I play a little (keyboards) but am not a full fledged musician per se.

I do however love all things music. My faves include Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against The Machine, Immortal Technique, (Old) Chili Peppers, Billie Holiday, Mary J. Blige, My Bloody Valentine and pretty much anything that moves me.

Anyone who can direct me to some good music promo material or blog sites that can help me... your assistance will be forever remembered.

Well at least you're upfront and honest about it, but this site doesn't tolerate being used as a promotion medium nor does it cater to promotion training... so unless you're planning on being actively involved in music discussion and community discussion without only trying to promote a band, then you can save yourself some time and effort and find another place, because otherwise, you'll be banned.

Just a heads up.
